Advanced Hostage Negotiations II

This course reviews the challenges of conducting negotiations with specific groups that law enforcement may encounter. Typical negotiation techniques, when dealing groups that have deep rooted ideologies, are likely to be ineffective. This training provides an insightful look at international and homegrown terror groups, sovereign citizens, dealing with military veterans

in crisis, and kidnapping cases. This class also exams the need to address the mental health needs of its negotiators.
